Conference Aims
The AELP National Conference offers a timely opportunity to debate whether government proposals to reform skills and employment programmes will benefit learners, engage more employers and get more people back to work.
A year ago, AELP published its own manifesto. Since then we have seen the start of Traineeships for young people – something AELP was first to call for – and the Apprenticeship budget has been protected. However the consultations on the future of Apprenticeships have prompted major concern.
We will debate all of the current challenges in what promises to be another stimulating event with a great mix of plenary sessions, workshops for sharing best practice and networking.
