Welcome to the Novotel London West, Hammersmith for the AELP National Conference 2018. Please note the following information.

Registration

If attending both days of the conference, you will be required to register again on day two at the AELP Registration Desk in order to confirm your attendance and to ensure we meet H&S regulations in the event of an evacuation.

Badges

As a courtesy to other delegates and to ensure we can identify you quickly to deliver any messages, we would appreciate if you would wear your badge at all times. Please hand in your badge at the close of both days to the AELP Events Team.

AELP Conference App

The AELP Conference App replaces the physical Conference Programme Guides, we have provided in previous years. It is your electronic guide to all the key conference information. For further information on the App, please see the leaflet enclosed in your conference bag.

Workshop Attendance

The “My Workshops” module in the Conference App will include information on the Workshops you have selected to attend. Example: WSD1-03 and WSD2-09 will indicate you have chosen to attend Workshop 3 on Day One and Workshop 9 on Day Two.

It would be appreciated if you only attend the Workshops as chosen and detailed in the App. If this information is not on the App, we have not received workshop selections from you. If you wish to attend a Workshop (subject to availability) or if you require assistance, please contact the AELP Events Team on the Enquiry Desk located on the Ground Floor who will be pleased to assist you.

Special Dietary Requirements

Delegates who have notified us of any special dietary requirements will have a ‘green circle’ fixed to their badge for identification purposes by the hotel staff. If you have any special dietary requirements that have not been pre-arranged, please notify our staff on the Registration Desk prior to commencement of the conference. Unfortunately, if we are not notified in time, we may not be able to accommodate your requirements.

Accommodation & Breakfast

For guests staying overnight only on 25 June, you will have been requested to leave your luggage at the AELP Accommodation Desk which is situated between the AELP Registration Desks and the Exhibition & Catering area on the Ground Floor. This is so your luggage can be taken for you to your bedroom as soon as it becomes available. Please note that you will still be required to complete your check-in and collect your key. Room keys and access to bedrooms for the night of 25 June 2018 will only be available between 4.30pm and 6.00pm.

Breakfast is served in the Aroma Restaurant which is located on the first floor. Serving time is from 6.00am to 10.30am.

Pre-Dinner Drinks Reception & AELP Gala Dinner

The Pre-Dinner Drinks Reception prior to the AELP Gala Dinner will be held between 7.00pm and 8.00pm in the Cremant Suite Foyer on the First Floor. The AELP Gala Dinner will be held from 8.00pm until late in the Cremant Suite which we will be using for the main conference during the day. Places at the Pre-Dinner Drinks Reception and the AELP Gala Dinner are by prior booking only. The dress code is smart casual.
